3. Buonasera

5. Grazie

💰 How much does it cost? Vital for shopping, souvenirs and checking you are not about to overpay for gelato.

7. Dov’è il bagno?

🚻 Where is the toilet? One of those phrases you will be very grateful you learned.

8. Non capisco

Pronounced: non kah-pee-skoh

🤷 I don’t understand. Helpful when Italian flows faster than a Vespa in rush hour.

9. Parla inglese?

Pronounced: par-lah een-gleh-zeh

🗣️ Do you speak English? Ask politely and most people will try their best to help.

10. Il conto, per favore

Pronounced: eel kon-toh pair fah-voh-ray

🍽️ The bill, please. Essential after long, delicious meals where time seems to disappear.
